Pretty Place Chapel at YMCA Camp Greenville reopened on Aug.
24 after closing to support the summer camp for children and families. Visitors can enjoy its scenic mountain views and attend weddings + private events, but should check the daily schedule online.

Social Security COLA for 2027 is projected between 3.2% and 3.6%, which may boost monthly checks by about $70 to $75 for SC retirees.
The final rate will be confirmed on Oct. 14 and take effect in January.
Greenville County Schools extended its lease with the city at Riverside Middle School so Greer may continue using the softball, baseball, and football fields.
The board approved the decision Tuesday evening.
