  1. Designs for the first five miles of the Saluda Grade Trail are 60% complete and were unveiled at a mid-August open house in Landrum—300 locals attended.

    Funding and bids will start work to convert the former rail line from the state line near Tryon through Landrum to Hulon Howard Road.

  1. The Greer Heritage Museum will host Museum Week from Sept. 14 to 19 with local restaurant fundraisers + an inaugural gala at Greer City Hall before its 30th birthday party at the museum.

    Tickets for the gala are $40 and museum entry is free with registration.
