Flying Fox Coffee is set to open its third location in Woodruff this November at 132 S.
Main St (a former coffee shop space) with plans to offer a new breakfast, lunch, and coffee menu while posting 16 to 20 job openings.
Breeze Airways (a low-cost carrier) will launch nonstop flights from GSP to West Palm Beach on Dec.
18 with fare prices starting at $59. The new service will run on Mondays and Fridays and add to the airline’s 11 routes from the airport.
🎭 Culture
The Upcountry History Museum offers local families engaging exhibits and hands-on programming that spark curiosity and create memorable traditions.
Current shows include 'Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum: The Exhibit' and exhibits on baseball history alongside an American Revolution display (developed with Clemson University).
Four local festivals offer food, music & culture this weekend.
Downtown Greenville hosts the Euphoria Festival from today through Sunday, while the Greek, Hispanic and Renaissance Faires run from Sept. 18 to Sept. 20 in Spartanburg, Anderson and Wellford.
🌲 Environment
The Nature Conservancy announced that 1,950 acres in Laurens County will be transferred to join Sumter National Forest’s Enoree Ranger District this month, expanding public land for hiking, horseback riding and paddling.
The property (adjoining a 335-acre park) will soon protect these natural spaces from development.
🏥 Health
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenville doubled its capacity on Sept.
16 when a $40M, 26,000 sqft expansion added 40 new private patient rooms—reducing waitlists for those recovering from strokes and injuries. The project also created 90 new local jobs.

Clemson quarterback Christopher Vizzina was listed as probable after he left the Georgia Southern game because he could not feel his left arm, and freshman Tait Reynolds will start against UNC on Sept.

South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer recalled how a chance stop in Starkville — where he ran out of gas and met his wife Emily — changed his life and career.
